Exclusive Itinerary

Come join Adrienne as she discovers the design heart and soul of the inspirational city of Marrakech. She fell under Morocco’s spell over 10 years ago and since then has returned year after year for design inspiration and to delve into its rich culture. She’d love you to join her this October as she shares some of her favourite design finds and places with you!

Stimulate your senses and explore the abundance of creativity in the 'Red City' as you visit the talented artisans in the medina, explore hidden ateliers, shops and historic sites, design museums like the new Yves Saint Laurent Museum, the city's best kept secret of the hidden flea market of Bab Khemis, and learn about decorative design elements like gebs, tadelakt and zellige and the symbolism in Berber carpets through Adrienne’s inspirational talks.

Sunday, 30th Sept.

Marhabah! Welcome to Marrakech!

Plan your arrival to Marrakech for late morning or midday. An airport transfer to the Medina will be arranged for you where you will be met and guided to Maison 28. You will be welcomed with Atay (Moroccan Mint Tea), your own pair of Moroccan slippers, the week’s itinerary and a riad map.

Following lunch at Maison 28, we’ll take a walk through the nearby souk markets for an introduction and orientation to our neighbourhood in the medina. Evening brings a beautiful sunset and a ‘welcome’ cocktail followed by dinner at Le Trou Au Mur.

In the afternoon we head to the Industrial zone of Sidi Ghanem where we'll visit the ateliers of furniture and product designer, Laurence Landon, Sissi Morocco, Chabi Chic and other nearby design showrooms and design stores.

There's no arranged dinner that night to give you a chance to explore the many wonderful restaurants Marrakech has to offer.
